The first few minutes in a classroom can set the manner for the entire school day. Having a foreseeable and consistent morning routine is a wonderful way to aid students.

Morning work should be a purposeful part of your students' day. It is the good time to evaluate skills formerly taught, activate prior knowledge for future topics, and informally measure how well present curriculum is being retained.
