Visual Thinking
Visual thinking is thinking with sketching and or doodles.
Attended a PD called “Ink & Ideas” by TannyMcGregor. She has published several books. I love how she is such a huge advocate for sketching and doodling in the classroom. I think it really does slow kids down and make them use their metacognitive thinking. When drawing, doodling or sketching you really have to think about what you are doing.
I also learned that January 11th is World Sketch note day.
